Bath Time With Nola

January 4, 2019 by Markus No Comments

Nola is a strange cat who is not afraid of water. She never gets in the tub, but why would a kitty who keeps herself so clean need to?

Nola and Her Fish

January 3, 2019 by Markus No Comments

Nola used to carry this fish all around. We rarely see that anymore, but we do find it in odd places around the apartment. We’re going to need to get a replacement soon. If you know what stuffed animal this please let us know.

Walking With Nola

December 24, 2018 by Markus No Comments

Our cat, Nola, is far to curious to stay inside, but our neighborhood is to dangerous for her to go out alone, so I take her for walks. Nola would probably tell you that she’s taking me for a walk.

I started out walking her on a leash, until she learned how to recognize and fear the streets and cars. If you’re going to free walk a cat, the trick is to walk causally to your cat when they bolt. Running after them only initiates a chase, one that you are not going to win. There also has to also be a great deal of trust between you and your cat. You also need to have patience as cats are extremely curious and like to observe.

The bird noises have not been added. These are the neighborhood birds yelling at Nola. There’s a hummingbird taunting her at 1:58.

Nola

If you’re lucky, life gives you a special cat. We are so grateful that Nola came into our lives. She is loved dearly.

There is no music in the videos because it’s Nola’s world and she doesn’t have a soundtrack running in her life.
