Nola is still getting used to the beach. After a quick look around she was ready to walk home. We’ll have to get a longer video out another day.

Nola is a strange cat who is not afraid of water. She never gets in the tub, but why would a kitty who keeps herself so clean need to?

There really is no better toy for a cat than a crumpled up paper ball. Nola has so much fun with these.

When it rains, Nola likes to play on the stairs.

Our cat, Nola, is far to curious to stay inside, but our neighborhood is to dangerous for her to go out alone, so I take her for walks. Nola would probably tell you that she’s taking me for a walk.

I started out walking her on a leash, until she learned how to recognize and fear the streets and cars. If you’re going to free walk a cat, the trick is to walk causally to your cat when they bolt. Running after them only initiates a chase, one that you are not going to win. There also has to also be a great deal of trust between you and your cat. You also need to have patience as cats are extremely curious and like to observe.
